  • A valid Yemeni ID (national ID card or passport) is required.
  • The applicant must have a personal email address and a mobile phone number.
  • All electronic services for the client will be activated upon request to open or update the account through the website. If the client wishes to deactivate any of these services, a request to stop the service must be submitted.
  • After submitting the account opening request, you will receive an email with the request number. The account will be opened after contacting you via a recorded video call to verify the identity of the applicant and match the signature provided with the account opening request.
  • The client acknowledges their legal eligibility and full mental capacity, as required by law, to open and manage a personal account with the bank alone, and that they do not fall under special cases that require knowledge of banking procedures such as minors, the visually impaired, or illiterate individuals.
  • All terms and conditions apply to the applicant upon approval.

 

Account Opening Procedures

  • Open the account according to the specified steps.
  • Enter personal information (name, address, mobile number, email address, date of birth, and a personal photo).
  • Enter passport information (passport number, place of issue, date of issue, date of expiry, and attach a clear photo of the passport).
  • Enter work and residence information (occupation, employer, work address, monthly income, country of residence, residence permit number, date of issue, date of expiry, and attach a clear photo of the residence permit).
  • Enter account information (desired branch to open the account, type of account - current or savings, account currency).
  • Enter the bank signature and specify a suitable time for a recorded video call to verify the signature and identity before opening the account.
  • It is important to ensure that accurate information is provided, including the email address and mobile phone number, so that you receive a confirmation email upon submission of the request and a text message upon opening the account.
  • After submitting the account opening request, you will receive an email with the request number. The account will only be opened after contacting you via a recorded video call to verify your identity and match the signature provided with the account opening request.
